Publicis London hires award-winning creative talent Polina Zabrodskaya

Publicis London has bolstered its creative department by hiring Polina Zabrodskaya as Creative Director. Zabrodskaya will report into Executive Creative Director Dave Monk, and will be responsible for helping to drive the agency’s agenda for innovation and develop integrated campaigns across Publicis’ clients.

Zabrodskaya, was the creator of Heineken’s award-winning campaign, ‘The Dilemma’ which picked up Gold at Cannes, A Grand Clio, Eurobest, and Epica gongs. The stunt campaign features a football fan who is offered a VIP ticket to a Champions League match, but must forsake the friends he usually watches the games with at home. The fan chooses to go to the match in secret, but is exposed in front of the thousands of people watching by his friends who were all in on the prank.

Zabrodskaya began her career at BBDO Russia where she spent six years as a senior copywriter and was responsible for the startlingly simple and innovative campaign ‘The Banner That Makes You Like Banners’ for Post-It. A campaign that also picked up Cannes Golds, One Show awards, a D&AD Pencil, and a Webby. The campaign saw Post-it turn its own retargeted ads into virtual notepads. Users were able to leave their notes within the ads themselves, which popped up and reminded them of any of the things they needed to be reminding of such as; to make an important phone call, book a lunch appointment or pick up shopping essentials.

Dave Monk, Executive Creative Director, Publicis London said: “Polina is the perfect hire for the department we’re building at Publicis London. A World Class creative talent. Smart. Ambitious. With an incredible reputation, and the work to back it up”

Polina Zabroskaya, Creative Director, Publicis London said: “It’s my second year with a Publicis Worldwide agency, and I’m thrilled to see how fast things are changing. It’s great to be around people who are not afraid of building a company they’d love to work for, and Publicis London is one of the offices that has been evolving the fastest. I’m looking forward to working with Dave and the team. The British accent drives me nuts, though.”
