Publicis London and POKE win at YouTube Works for Brands awards

Both Publicis London and POKE walked away with accolades at the YouTube Works for Brands awards.

The video-sharing website’s awards were created in partnership with the APG and Campaign to champion innovation and effectiveness in online video advertising.

This year, entries rose by 30% and were judged equally on three criteria: how well is the story told; how big was the effect, relative to what could be expected within the category and the budget of the campaign; and how much did YouTube add to the effectiveness or efficiency of the campaign.

Overall, 12 campaigns were chosen as best-in-class examples for brand-building, culture-changing or business-boosting work on YouTube over the past year.

Heineken ‘Worlds Apart’ won for Igniting a Conversation to Grow the Brand, and EE ‘Wembley Cup’ won for Best Long-Term Effectiveness.
